What is it?
The Messenger IN-12 6-digit Nixie Tube Clock is a feature-rich Nixie Clock with automatic functions such as night light feature, night mode, motion sensor activation & timer on/off function and is the most affordable series of feature-rich clocks the market, created specially for owners who crave for a premium clock at a lower price.
The tubes
We use brand new authentic vintage Russian IN-12 nixie tubes for our clock. Tubes come with limited warranty and are certified unused.
All tubes are 100% authentic brand-new 1990s USSR made IN-12 Nixie tubes and they come with pins for easy plug-and-play installation. Hence, should you require a replacement for your existing tubes, simply pull out and plug in a new set of tubes to continue hence, no soldering required.
Messenger IN-12 enclosure
Messenger IN-12 Nixie Clock is made from premium ash tree wood for a quality feel and sturdy construct. Smooth varnish finishing, sand down to preserve the natural grains and colors of the wood.
All clocks are made from a single piece of ash tree wood with no joints, handcrafted to perfection – a premium clock deserves an even higher quality finish.
Messenger IN-12 Tube Replacement
Our special design includes pins to attached the tubes onto the boards, this enables you to replace your tubes or use any spare tubes you have at home on the Nixie clock. Simply plug in the Nixie tubes and you’re good to go.

Messenger IN-12 Operation
The Messenger IN-12 Nixie Clock operates differently from your traditional button-adjusted nixie clocks, our clock utilizes capacitive buttons which are touch sensitive for settings and we have provided a secondary simplified control with a 3-button IR remote control.
The Messenger IN-12 Nixie Tube Clock can be manually adjusted using the 3 capacitive buttons on the clock or using the provided infra-red remote control. Time is calculated by the built-in RX8025 crystal unit with a ±5×10-6 accuracy.
A built-in DS18B20 digital thermometer at the back of the clock tracks ambient temperature readings. We have also provided a photo-resistor sensor (LDR) at the back of the clock to automatically track ambient brightness when the night mode is on.
All of our clocks come with adjustable Cathode Poisoning Prevention (CPP) function.

True enough, the clock did not disappoint, it is packed full of features. The instructions were clear and clock was easy to operate. I particularly loved the sensors, touch buttons and the ash wood tree finish.
